Pinkie had suction cups strapped (somehow) to all four of her hooves, today. The purpose of this was abundantly clear from the moment the students entered the class -- she was, after all, using them to walk on the ceiling.
The purpose of that . . . not so much clear, no.
"Hi everypony!" she called, pulling one hoof off the ceiling with a POP to wave to the students. "Welcome back!"
"Before you go on vacation," Derek added, not looking up at the Spider-Pony. Nope. Not happening. "Don't show up here next week. We won't be here."
"Nopenopenope!" Pinkie agreed. "I'll be heading back to Equestria for a bit to visit with my friends. They couldn't come this weekend because they're all very busy with all the other fun things they do but at least my bestest sister friend could come. Didja guys see her poetry? She's so prolific!"
And that would be Derek's eyebrow twitching. Because he had heard the poetry. Oh, he had. "Pineapple upside down
cakes," he ground out. "We're making them today."
Denial was totally gonna make this class work.
"So grab some piney-apples and start baking!" Pinkie cheered, attempting to hop excitedly. What with her hooves being strapped to suction cups stuck to the ceiling, this mostly resulted in her stretching her legs out and snapping back into shape like they were rubber bands. She frowned at her hooves, then started popping along the ceiling with a look of great concentration on her face. "I'll be watching you!"
Yep. Ceiling-Pony will be watching you, kids. You're welcome.
