In a way, Shunsui was incredibly relieved to see that a lot of things were happening this semester that made lesson plans easier. Granted, he had intended to just use the same lesson plan from last semester, but this way, inspired by the goings-on about the island, it helped make him look just a little less lazy ( Read more... )

Peter was decidedly not having the best week of his life, and it had little to do with the rock.

He sipped coffee and brooded thought over next week's essay, and the steps to be taken before the end of the Bugger War, and that was that.

Scully's experience of meteorites was that sometimes they made you crazy or gave you superpowers. And she was *so* looking forward to examining the one in the lab today.

So the intrepid investigator examined the alien sample, and found that not only was it home to a new species, but that this species was capable of curing cancer. Look, you had your dreams, she had hers.
