Still, all very useful stuff to know, so she was leaning forward with her arms folded on her desk, looking quiet, serious, and... not studious, because Kennedy, but some more combative equivalent.

Actually, what she'd probably do was drop her shields and go looking with her mind first, but it amounted to the same thing.

She shrugged, casually, but she wasn't as brash and cocky about it as she might've been a year and a half ago, and she actually looked thoughtful. "I'd pretty much have to figure out who else was around and on my side, and-- if it's not people I know-- what they can do. So I'd know what kind of resources we have."
