There wasn't much to the lecture today, but it did inspire Valentine to make at least one note to self:

Try to program chess AI on laptop.

It would be a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon one of these days, or keep her busy at work.

Yakko beat Death at checkers once. If he could handle Daddoooooooo, he could probably manage a computer.

There are boards set for checkers and for chess, for as handwavy a game as you want.

Ino poked a bit dubiously at the chess board--it wasn't totally unfamiliar, but she was more used to Shogi or Go--and she wasn't no Shikamaru besides.
