Have a few no calorie holographic snacks and drinks, talk to each other and introduce yourselves.

This class definitely topped the scales of weirdness for Joan. At least it wasn't as embarrassing as Sex Ed.

She took a holographic glass of what appeared to be sparkling cider and set about mingling.

"Hi Joan." Robin greeted her. "How are you adjusting?"

Amber grabbed a glass of something to drink and set about mingling. This class just might be pretty cool.

The man in the very tall hat was talking politely to a group of people who were just as holographic as he was, but he was certainly available for questioning.

"Hello," Peyton said politely. "It's very nice to meet you. I was wondering how you came up with the Gettysburg address."

"Hello there, young lady," President Lincoln replied. He then thought for a moment about the question. "The nation was in quite the state," he replied. "Words can do things to a man's heart that food or shelter cannot. The important thing was to find the right words to show respect to the fallen men and, for those who remained to fight on for the cause, to instil in them a sense that they were not alone and to bring out those qualities that had served them and their country well thus far."

Socrates loved canapés. They were delightful and convenient and very sensible. Logical, even. Why hadn't he thought of them? He decided to dwell on that, and the food, at least until someone decided to approach him.

Peyton really wasn't sure what exactly she could ask Socrates, but she smiled at him anyway. "So, what do you think of parties as a method for learning?"

Socrates looked up, then smiled brightly that someone was actually talking to him and that it was a pretty young woman. "Parties, yes." He might have spoken English, he just didn't speak it very well. "You learn more of a man who is at ease than who is on guard."

Sigmund Freud was chewing thoughtfully on the end of a pen while he watched the people mingle. He was also taking note of the candles, the lilies in the floral displays, and the carrots prominently placed in the canapés.

[ooc: Freud will be answering most questions with a question. I apologise in advance if he drives you nuts!]

Lola immediately honed in on Freud for a chat. "You are Sigmund Freud, ja?"

He studied her thoughtfully, then took the pen out of his mouth. "Why do you think I am Sigmund Freud?"
