Fandom High Graduation Ceremony Class of 2007 Part II - Saturday Afternoon

May 05, 2007 14:01

Shortly after the last diploma was given out and its recipient sat back down, the sky darkened as dark clouds quickly rolled in. Hovering down out of the clouds was a large spaceship that looked - some might say - like a giant hubcap. It landed in the field right behind the graduates.

A beam shot straight up from the ship, separating the ship and the graduates from everyone else. The graduates wore uniforms. They looked important. If they were destroyed first, it would cause panic in everyone else. That would be good.

A second beam shot up, generating another giant bubble around everyone else in attendance. This would keep them from fleeing.

Next, a ramp on the ship lowered and some strange aliens - Martians, as it turned out - walked out, stopping halfway down the tunnel to pose regally.

The Martian in the lead pulled a Universal remote control out from the robe covering his space suit and aimed it at the ship. Then he pressed a button.

A third beam shot out of the spaceship at the school. When it hit, the school exploded in a giant fireball of school.

Later inspection would show that the library survived, surprisingly unscathed. The teacher's offices were a mixed bag, but most were at the very least reachable. The classrooms? Gone. The lockers? Gone, except for one. The dorms, fortunately, weren't affected at all, unless you count the rubble that landed on the roof. The specifics weren't a pressing concern at the moment, so let's get back to the front lawn.

More Martians started to walk down the ramp. There were a lot of them. Once they were all bunched up with the first Martians, they marched down the rest of the way and finally stepped onto the ground. That's when they pulled out the ray guns that had been strapped to their backs.

The school was destroyed and there were armed, hostile aliens trapped inside a force field with the graduates. The Martians didn't realize how screwed they were.

[OOC: We will have an OOC post up soon to explain what the hell we just did. Please wait for OCD. Have fun.]
