Shortly after the last diploma was given out and its recipient sat back down, the sky darkened as dark clouds quickly rolled in. The Tylers were happily watching the ceremony when they saw the ship. "What is that?" Karen asked.

"It's a blimp," Karen said.

"No. Maybe a plane?"

"It's probably just swamp gas," she said.

"It's landing."

"Well, that's... interesting."

"WHAT'S HAPPENING?" asked Sharon.

Kawalsky watched, then shielded his eyes as the school went up in a giant fireball of school. What the hell just happened?

Graduates, you are our only hope. We have more than enough Martians for you to beat up. Fortunately, the ray guns don't seem to have quite enough juice to vaporize people. That's what cuts in Martian military funding will do.

So did the Martians too apparently as a small group headed for Jake, firing their ray guns.

Jake yelped and hit the ground quickly. He reached out and grabbed his chair, pushing it hard towards the group. There were times like these when he really wished he had a more offensive power.

A third building. He lost a third building in one week. As soon as the force bubbles lowered, he charged into what remained of the school and to where the fighting had been. He had one hand raised, his white glove had a peculiar drawing on the back but he lowered his hand as he realised the fighting was over now.
