Oh wow. This is BEAUTIFUL and going straight into my favs! I LOVE the idea of Sam bringing Gabe back for his Heaven, and the boys living to old age but not without trials, like Cas being ageless in his vessel and having to hang on those extra few years without Dean. And oh god, the soldier in the Impala! And Sammy wanting Gabe to be his redemption.

Oh, I adored this! Very bittersweet, but I love it so! Gabriel being Sam's redemption is an absolutely amazing idea, and I love that they can still be together in the end. ♥

“I’m special,” Castiel said, his cheeks flushed red from the alcohol.
“Yeah, you are,” Dean agreed and kissed him.
I know this wasn't a main part of the fic, but I am a total Dean/Cas girl, and this was absolutely adorable!

I love the idea that Sam brought Gabriel back. Though I also liked Gabriel's speech about Sam wanting his own angel to prove he was redeemed.

That was so awesome I don't even have words. Cas holding Dean as he died. Staying with Sam until the end. Gabriel in Sam's heaven. the whole thing was fantastic.
