I've been rereading this and trying to figure out what it is about this fic that is so compelling. (Hence the lateness of this comment.) Maybe I should just say that 'I loved it!' :D

Ok, one of the things I love is how there is so much 'showing' rather than 'telling', especially in the dialogue bits - things are hinted at and talked around rather than stating the obvious. And I think this is the first Jeremy/Richard I've read where Jeremy wasn't actually interested in Richard, which is a whole new dynamic. :D:D:D

I'm chuffed you appreciated my dialogue style, I figure that's realistic. Men aren't talking about their thoughts and feelings and inner motivations, not any more than they think they need to. lol

Well, Jeremy's interested in Richard to a degree or he wouldn't have been in that position. LOL But yeah, he's not interested like James is. I'm really surprised how many people really liked that angle, I was nervous it would be too out of the ordinary.
