"Ohhh yeah..." George moaned. She was lying on a blanket far enough from the bonfire to be comfortable, not too warm but not too cold either. She had her feet in Bill's lap--or one, anyhow. The other was in his hands and he was giving her a fantastic foot massage. As he worked his magic, George glanced idly around ( ... )

Strangely, the last of the Alephevorian cider that Scott drained from his coconut shell cup tasted considerably better than his first sip had. He peered into the now-empty cup, murmuring, "Musta been the organic compounds oxidizing from contact with the atmosphere ( ... )

Molly had worn a grass skirt, and an anklet of seashells. Alcohol she could handle. Better than most full humans anyway. That was not to say she wasn't feeling mellow ( ... )

((OOC: I'm gonna try my hand at FI Jon))

"You've been a bad girl, Molly Green." Jon's admonishment failed to hit the mark due to the lopsided grin that made him look all the more boyish than he already appeared. He glanced at the tableau of Daniel and Faith, nodding his approval. If anyone needed to unwind it was Daniel; if anyone could help Daniel it was Faith and -

"Oh, I don't know. Moon isn't full. But if the rythem is right, I might be tempted into an older nature dance." Molly smiled up at Jon.

"As for my being bad... blame it on Robin Goodfellow. He's a terrible influance on anyone. He also taught me that fetish magic. Not that I could use it before." She laughed, "Besides, who'se going to punish me? Especially if everyone's happy."

Molly shook her grass skirt with a flick of her hips, liking the rustling sound. "You're not too bad on the dance floor. Didn't think this was your kind of music, though. You seem more a Stones man."

Watching Scott and Dean pay homage to the 80s and every horrible break dancing movie that ever graced, and Daniel did use the word 'graced' lightly, the big screen, Daniel chuckled and gave thanks that he was not that drunk. Granted, Dean might have been perfectly in character, but Scott had to be drunk to come that far out of his shell and perform like a teenager ( ... )

[Stephen] Not a drunken white boy cbeckett_md November 8 2007, 20:18:50 UTC
No Stephen had never been one to miss a good party, especially when there was dancing involved. The good doctor was a pretty good dancer though admittedly any of the music shuffling through was going to be considered an oldie to him... not necessarily a goodie, but an oldie.

Stephen grabbed himself a drink and looked around the grouping. He gave a nod to Susan, but he figured Marcus would occupy most of her time. A quick calculation of couples and the like left Stephen with one option, and that was dance with himself.

Stephen began swaying to the music, only taking a quick moment to get an idea on the basic beat. He had to shake his head at the other gentlemen. Dancing like that only ended up in very old holo-vids and Stephen wasn't about to try and emulate it.

Frank is mostly here to get more of that tehrapeutic liquor into his system. He has grabbed a drink and now he just needs a place to sit. He spots McKay and heads nearby, settling into a spot on the ground a bit aways from the doctor, but still within sight.

Frank shook his head at the music and the dancing, "Some things should remain in the 80s." Frank took a swig of his drink and just leaned against a tree. No way was anyone getting him out on the dance floor unless she was incredibly hot.

Marie sat and watched the gathering, making sure her drink was non-alcoholic. She understood her limits very well, even if nobody else did. An inebriated pyrokinetic was dangerous, after all, and she didn't have any intention of setting the whole area on fire in drunken silliness ( ... )

Although Dean was loathe to admit it, Scott was the better breakdancer. At least Dean's windmill was better after the impromptu lesson.

"Brass Monkey" segued less jarringly to mid-90s dance music. As much as Dean hated the synth-pop garbage he stayed on the dance floor. A party was a party.

Scott retreated to Ami's side while others had drifted on to the dance floor. Stephen had decent moves, as did Ivanova (who was damn hot for an older chick).

Miho's sultry gyrations on to the woven mats sure got Dean's attention. Before he could join her she headed toward the fire. Mildly disappointed, Dean took another swig of the thick, bittersweet stuff the Doctors had brought and kept dancing.

Unsurprisingly one of the wallflowers watching from the sidelines was his brother. "Hey, Sammy! Get your freakishly tall self out here, and bring some of the benchwarmers." Kenzaki sauntered on to the dance floor about then. "Yeah, Ken! Show 'em how it's done," Dean called, raising his hand for a high-five.

"Shall we?" Rose stood up and held out her hand to the Doctor, her Doctor.

"Takes quite a bit more than this to get me that drunk." He raised his eyebrows.

"Now I know you can dance. Have before. Just to warn off Captain Jack. And don't think for a moment I didn't know what you were doin'." Rose resolutely held out her hand. "I want to dance. And I'll be dancin with you, or I'll be dancin with you. So make your choice, Mr. Astair."

The Doctor looked a bit trapped for a moment, then took her hand, although he didn't use her support to get up. "You do realize what this means." He muttered.

"Yeah, I got ya right where I want ya," Rose laughed. "Come on then. You'll find your feet at the bottom of your legs." She started to pull him towards the dance floor. She looked over her shoulder. "And I'll be back for you later, mister. I wanna see how both Doctor's dance." She winked at Ten.

"Careful, Rose. Once you dance with me, you mayn't ever want to dance with him again," Ten's return banter didn't reveal the slight tug and pain in his hearts as he watched Rose walk away hand-in-hand with his earlier self. He suppposed that he'd get used to it eventually, the ever present spectre of what he would never have, but so far, he still hadn't ( ... )

Stephen had to smile when Susan made her way over, "Yes well, as long as no one asks me to try and repeat that, I do just fine. Though perhaps we lost something in the years from now until our time, but that doesn't look like dancing."

Having said that Stephen offered a hand to Susan and took up the softer rhythm that followed the breakdancing music. "Now let's see what moves you have in you Susan." That sounded almost like a challenge. The older doctor still has the moves, enough that he can keep up with the younger commander... and some of the other youngsters on the dance floor.

"Now I know why they skipped over this half of the century as far as dancing was concerned. Almost makes me miss Earhart's." Susan had to raise her voice to be heard. Now, oddly enough, swing and jazz was more her style than the music playing, but she made due... particularly as the melody changed into something a little softer. With ease, one hand found his shoulder, the other went for his hand as the sway began... nothing stuffy, mind, nor particularly romantic in her moves, in following the step... but they were friends, and there was a comfortable familiarity in both her manner and mien ( ... )

Stephen grinned at Susan, "If you were dancing with Michael you'd be doing more hopping then dancing. The man may be light on his feet in a fight or when chasing crooks but get him on the dance floor and he's got two right feet. I'd say left, but that's his primary side." Of course it is more fun to pick on Michael when he's actually around to hear it. It's a bit of an exageration, but compare him to Stephen on the dance floor and it isn't far off.

Stephen sent Susan into a spin, and then pulled her back in, his grin widening now, "At least you know when you are beaten Susan." Yeah, he knows he could get in trouble for that, but what's life without a little bit of trouble?

Stephen was easy on his feet; it's something Susan knew after working with the man for only a few months. How many times had they been at Earhart's at the same time? Official functions that required some sort of... festivities? She had drawn the line, however, when Jeff had insisted on that comparitive religion thing with the aliens ( ... )
