Han comes around in the clinic, unsure where he is. He's groggy, his chest hurts and some very low voices are singing about "Desperados waiting for a train." Last thing he remembers was the pretty dark-haired lady jabbing him with a needle.

A groan seems like the most he can cope with at this point

Lana's sitting in a chair next to him, dozing.

She stirs when she hears him groan and gets up to go over and check on him, rubbing her face as she does so. "Han. Hey, the doctor says you're going to be okay." She brushes a stray lock of hair off his forehead and manages a smile for him.

He blinks at her. "Morning, doll." His mouth feels like sandstorm season blew through. He looks at the IV, the bandages and gives her a lopsided smile. "Too wicked to die young."

"And a good thing too," she replied. "Not ready to lose you, yet. You must be thirsty. Let me sit you up a bit and get you some water."

Walter wasn't particularly thrilled to be there, but his wrist hadn't stopped hurting overnight and he really couldn't afford to be cavalier about injuries to his wrists or hands.

He was there first thing in the morning to get it dealt with and get back to Victor before he woke again.

Pippi nods to Walter as she enters the clinic.

"Good morning," Walter sets aside the old magazine he'd been staring at without seeing. "How are you feeling today?"

Pippi shrugged.

"I feel fine." she said, "I feel great in fact... But I feel like I shouldn't... I'm perfectly okay and I want to go out and make snow angels... But I also feel like I shouldn't. So I feel guilty for being okay and wanting to play in the snow that almost killed us all..."

"How are you?"

Ivanova woke up in the clinic, her head pounding but much clearer than it had been the night before. She lay there with her eyes closed for a long time without moving. Mainly because her limbs felt like they were made of lead. Lead made of pain. Lots of pain.
