Clinic Hours - Tuesday November 22nd 2005

The passage of air was LOUD today and Wilson moved very, very carefully in an attempt to keep the air as still as possible. He was late opening the Clinic not because he was late getting *to* the Clinic but because he was moving very slowly…in the hope of keeping the air really quiet

"Okay. Thanks for staying with me," Rory said quietly with a smile and a slight inclination of her head. "Sleep well, okay?"

Bag in hand, Cameron heads towards the room Wilson pointed him to. He stops and knocks on the door before poking his head in. "Yo!"

"I thought I was supposed to ask you that," Cameron grins as he fully enters the room. "Although, I'm sure you're tired of hearing it."

Rory rolls her eyes good-naturedly. "I'm okay. Better than I was, and I should be able to like, walk and stuff soon. What's going on with you? And around school?"

"That's good to hear," he says as he puts the bag on the bed beside her. It's got a chocolate cake and an apple cake in it. "We've got a new professor for Psychology who is actually sane."

Rory peers into the bag. "Cake! Yay! Thank you. I'm pretty sure it's not even contraband anymore, which makes it even better. And...you mean we have a psych teacher who won't hypnotize students or try to kill them? Of all things."

"Yeah, it's fun when you can actually eat the things you get." Cameron agrees. "Isn't it great? I think I might actually like being a TA after all. I mean, it's not like working for The Tick, but she seems pretty cool."

((I totally called Cam 'Camerno' yesterday and never caught it until much later.))

"I've been eating all my secret candy and stuff anyway, but don't tell the doctors," Rory giggles. "And good! I'm glad you have a sane teacher to work for. Or...well, as sane as anyone is around here." She tilts her head curiously. "How did Lockheed's lesson go?"

"Pretty good, I think. He did get into a discussion with Jaye over something and he totally took advantage of the position to get cookies. Can't really blame him for that, it's kinda weird getting a class from a dragon." He's not sure if he should bring up the subject of the class as it could lead to another discussion.

"Yeah, he was in here asking me for help yesterday. I came up with the discussion topic, assuming he kept it," Rory says brightly. "Wish I'd been there to see."

"It was?" Cameron looks surprised at that. "It was about redemption. Whether people can redeem themselves for past crimes."

"Yeah, that was my idea." Rory offers a sad smile. "I don't know how I feel about this 'Angel' guy, really. Whether the fact that he says he's sorry is enough, y'know?"

Cameron nods and absently toys with the sheet. "I've talked to him a bit and I think he understands that too, probably better than anyone else." He looks up at Rory and shrugs a bit helplessly. "No one expects you to suddenly forgive him and be his best friend."

"Good, since that's not going to happen. Tara - Professor Maclay, I mean - was in here yesterday saying that he'll want to apologize." Rory shrugs. "I'll listen. Maybe. But I don't think I'll be able to be around him. Because seriously, how do we know he's different? He fooled us before."
