You could do your Rebecca/Karen thing like this. Via a series of short 250 word vignettes, that are linked in theme?

And, yeah, I could, but it's still half-written and I don't think overhauling it in such a dramatic way would do anything but damage it at this point. Maybe if I decide to start over from the beginning.
