I saw Tangled for the first time today! SO MUCH PRESH. CANNOT HANDLE. Oh and I love your attention to detail. I love that even though there was obviously a huge romantic element to the movie, Rapunzel finding herself (and finding herself through her own actions) was just a big a part of the overall narrative. OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD HER MAGICAL HEALING SONG. It was so simple and yet I think it was the most moving melody in the whole movie. I could watch that hug over and over and over again.

Oh Merlin. Did you read that interview with the show runners that basically said that they didn't have any material to write for the girls until Morgana was evil and Gwen was a love interest? Ugh. But Colin Morgan's face makes everything better.

WAS IT NOT WONDERFUL? I'm so glad people are flailing so hard over this movie, too, because it's so great and happy and sweet and Rapunzel is so great and the romance was so lovely asdjalksd. And I COMPLETELY AGREE! The healing song is haunting and short and perfect, and absolutely the best song of the movie.

Oh, we should not get into how angry that interview made me. Morgana being evil gave them something to do? Really? Is that why they went into such detail about the reasons behind her change? WHAT EVEN. And oh, oh really, Gwaine being kind of a ladies' man was mentioned fleetingly in some versions of the legend, but Gwen being a warrior queen is too hard to squeeze into the episodes that are already packed with so much quality? HER FATHER WAS A BLACKSMITH. SHE FOUGHT IN A SEASON ONE EPISODE. WHAT ARE YOU SAYING, WRITERS. (Oh, look, I'm talking about it anyway!) But yes. Colin Morgan's face makes everything better.

3. How'd pasta get in there!? LOL! The theaters 'round me stick strictly to snacks. We have nachos and hot dogs and soft pretzels, but not a lot of people buy them.

Ugh, can you believe it? It's not just that people are finding it so easy to sneak in things to the cinema (which is where most of it comes from), but they're selling pasta at the cinema itself now! It's the worst. And the Singapore movie-going culture focuses far too much on everything you can do at a cinema except watching a movie. I have a feeling it's why movies like An Education get single-theatre releases. :/

I'M PRETTY SURE IT WASN'T PASTA. IT WAS SOUP FROM SAYBONS DOWNSTAIRS. they starting a thing where GV Plaza allows people to bring in soup from Saybons (they love lovely tomato soup to be honest) into cinemas because they give it to you in takeaway glasses like coffee. You drink it out of the sippy hole thingy.

but yeah omg it smelt strange. HAHA I ALWAYS CRUNCH MY APPLES SUPER LOUDLY. i was laughing like a maniac through the movie, though. so yeah.

UGH IT'S HORRIBLE, ALL THE SMELLING. Can I not watch a movie in peace!? I didn't hear you crunching on the apples and I don't usually hear people crunching on popcorn, either, to be honest, but the smell is getting awful.
