PLOTTING THREAD: June 27 - July 3

This week's theme is Impatience.

Team Science is now down a member (sadfais for Scott), but potentially up three more! (Topher Brink, Toshiko Sato and Daniel Jackson.) Welcome to the new folks ^^ If the muns would like, we can handwave them being briefed on the Huon Project and the attempts to solve the barrier crisis.

Scott may end up coming back eventually. He quit mostly because he felt ~compelled~ to do it for some reason.

I'll laugh if Tosh tells him he should join.

PLOTTING THREAD: July 11 - July 17

There was no plotting thread last week, since all the barrier planning was done either in-game or in the OOC comm. But now we're back to business as usual!

NEW MEMBERS!
Romana, Lance Blackthorn, Pasha Chekov, and Alice Morgan have by now all been invited to stay on and keep working on projects, either those already in progress or ones they want to initiate themselves.

The Huon Project: Methinks it's about time the scanner gets to work. By the end of the week, perhaps on Sunday, a scan will finally be run. This will likely be handwaved.

Brainswap Event? There is a potential for a brainswap event in the future, stemming from Team Science's activities. Topher is likely to be the main player in this, and pending mod approval, it may go down in mid-late August.

Oh, and this week's event is Contentment.

The Doctor is going to want to talk to Lance specifically about pocketing technology and how it works, since he's going to remember that they actually talked about it a bit while Lance was in Sefton's body XD I may want to play that out, perhaps as a Network post?

Sure, I'd love to play that out. XD Not like Lance is an expert, but given that his only spare pokeball worked on a hydra from another world, he might think it'd be useful to know how to make them in the future. And also maybe extend them for other uses, since the Doctor knows how to pocket spaceships. =|

That said, he's going to be uncontactable by network next week or the week after while he gets his emotions in order, and you may even want to leave off until after then because he'd be in a better place to actually want to help.

PLOTTING THREAD July 18 - July 24

This week's event is Relief. Relief that the city is (mostly) open again, perhaps relief that the Huon Project, the first stage of the team's main purpose, has been completed.

The brainswap plot idea has been submitted to the mods and is pending approval.

ALSO A POST IS UP. Speaking of said Huon Project. And it's OPEN to all current team members! Come stir up some in-game plotting =3

PLOTTING THREAD August 1 - August 7

This week's event is Acceptance.

The brainswap plot was approved, as y'all likely know =3 A date that got thrown around for the start of it was August 20th. I was initially saying 4-6 weeks for the duration, but at least one person seemed to think that was a little long... what about 3-4 weeks? I think folks should still have enough time to play around thoroughly with the swap.

Also, Huon stuff! Folks is working to figure out a way to extract the Huon particles following people around without hurting the person in question. Any volunteers to be a lab rat? *glances at Jack Harkness*

So, late response is late, but HUZZAH. Maybe later this week (now the 8th thru the 14th) there can be a log with the Doctor and whomever else trying to syphon off the particles?

Topher has been working on a Huon extractor probe, so presumably that is related. *wink*

Maybe that's when he can get his ridiculous idea to try to replicate individual brain energy wave signatures or something. IDEK. XD
