So I found myself singing “Closing Time” in my head one day and the lyrics in the chorus gave me an idea for my first Avengers fic. D'awwww, I love Avengers dates in New York! And Tony tailoring one for Steve is particularly adorable. I love how Steve isn't oblivious to what Tony's doing because it's Tony going out of his way to be deeply nice, of course.

Honestly, the whole New York date thing came from my lovely helpers; I was just initially gunna write a story about Tony taking Steve to a bar to confess his feelings for him and then getting too drunk leaving Steve to drag his ass back to the Tower lol. But once my inspiration muse is peaked she kinda of has control XD But even though the initial idea kinda got away from me, I really like how this turned out, and I'm glad you guys do too :D

Ya, again initially I was gunna have Tony try and tell Steve how he feels while intoxicated and then try to convince Steve when he doesn't believe him, but I thought that might make him look too oblivious and innocent, and I didn't wanna do that to the poor guy lol. So he's a bit more savvy than everyone thinks ;)
