Okay, this is stupid. I'm not good at building houses. All I've managed to do so far is make a mess in the side of the river bank. This wouldn't be so hard if I had been listening to Teacher, sure, but when did I ever listen to him? Never. That's why I'm in this stupid situation

He slides into the water after that.*

[Only a handful, but that's still too many. Ezra huffs, but despite his manner he doesn't actually hold anything against Manny.
He watches Manny in the water for a second before changing himself. Ezra is smaller than Manuel's alligator, but what he lacks in size he makes up for in swiftness and maneuverability.
He swims a loop around Manny, then lazily starts swerving down the river, presumably to the site of his future house.]

Yep, that's clear enough. Time to change back and struggle to pull himself up the sheer face he's chosen.]
I'm going to get- guh- sticks so it doesn't collapse on itself. Again.

Manny takes a few moments to survey the area Ezra marked, considering the best ways to do this and wishing he could just Remember someone else doing it. But he's remembered it before, so hopefully he won't fail too badly. There was instinct involved, too, so as Ezra looks for sticks, Manny starts making the hole.*

Does he wish he spent more time paying attention? ...No, not really, that stuff was boring.
Eventually he deems his collection sufficient, and heads back to the water, dumping the pile by the water's edge. He'll need rocks too, but they can find those in the river, so it looks like for now they're set. He jumps back in, surveying Manny's work.]

Yep, looking good. Satisfied with his work Ezra surfaces as well. He's just going to chirp his thank you at you, it's not his fault if you don't understand.]
