YES. Gotta love the slash in this episode. Many think that's why the ratings went up. LOL.

I think the whole Noah's first wife thing was a retcon. It seemed "off" to me as well. I wonder if any review blogs will point that out.

I would LOVE an exposed future for next season. I've been wanting it all along, like something out of the X-men.

(And I'm not going to think about how next week could be potentially the last Heroes episode EVER *sob* )
I feel exactly the same here. I'm trying not to think negatively and be optimistic.

Omg, your icon! <3

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Also, HRG's getting a lot of action this season, heh.

Yes! X-men! I would love it. (Plus I take Hayden dying her hair brown as a sign, lol. I want a mixture of bad-ass S3!Claire/FYG Claire next season. I love seeing her be all fierce.)

Haha, I love my snarky Petlar icon. I need to make more Peter/Sylar icons. There's so many scenes, I don't know where to start.

YES. I want more Badass!Claire too. She's certainly been going in that direction this season.

It seem in character AND OOC for both Sylar and Peter at times. But still awesome.I see how Sylar was OOC at points, and I mostly blame that on the empty soundstage-sound, where it was more ZQ's voice than Sylar,s lol. He sounded very diva-ish. And the whole repentance thing was fast, but it wasn't TOTALLY out of the blue I guess, cause they've been working it up for the past few episodes. I kinda refuse to believe he'd ever hurt anyone again, but I'd like to see him hall into a dark hero kind of role. He hurts people, but only bad people ( ... )

Heh, it's perfectly fine. :D I put Peter was kinda OOC but actually, talking about it with people who REALLY thought he was I was saying how he really wasn't xD

I think it's possible to have an otherwise caring relationship with something and still hold something REALLY hard against them. It doesn't have to be "oh i hate him utterly" or "well we're best friends now" like fandom is assuming it is.

That's what I've been saying to people. They're not BFFs, but they spent what they thought were YEARS together, having to put up with each other, learning about each other. It's going to create some sort of bond. I think it's the pace in which it happened (to our eyes, to theirs, it was aaages) which puts people off.

The thing that made me think Sylar was :/ is that half a day, even though it was years in their minds...is it really ( ... )

It's hard to imagine 10 years in little under an hour, but I kind of roll with it because I meditate on it, LOL. Because I ship it and all. But the casual viewer was probably just like 0_0 and felt like it was rushed. But yeah, they aren't BFF, they're just...the have this really unbreakable bond now. They know everything you could possibly know about each other. Peter knows when Sylar's books are getting worn out. Sylar can recognize the slightest difference in Peter's facial expression. That's the intimacy you usually don't get unless you're twins or have been married for decades. They're even finishing each other's sentances now, according to next week. But I think that ( ... )

oh i agree with almost everything in this post.

i enjoyed the noah flashbacks but it did seem sort of out of place and it was so sad to think that sandra/noah was a set up :(

but petlar! GUH. its like Sylaire, i had ppl on my f-list who shipped them and i had sworn not to like them but i finally gave up. its the same with petlar.

there were really enjoyable scenes with these two. i loved how it started off with peter throwing away the comics sylar brought him;

LOL Peter's face. He's all "WTF you buying me comics for you weirdo?"

I just love love love that's the rooftop Peter was one in S1 where he hovered with Nathan. Or at least it looks like that one. ...In my mind it is that rooftop. xD

But yes. FYG FTW! :D I mean, if you've seen the sneak peaks for next week, even HRG is saying to Claire the future will end up like that. Just, gah! We need a new season!

I think TPTB must've been listening to the Sylar/Peter shippers when they decided to put those two together for years *lol* I only wish it could've been Nathan and Peter :( (Or Peter and Claire!)

I agree that the revelation about Noah's previous marriage felt a little strange. But, I guess TPTB are just taking full advantage of the fact that Noah's the one main character about whose past the audience knows so little. So, any 'retconning' can be legitimized.
