My birthday just keeps getting better and better. This is absolutely puuuurrrrrrrfect, including one of the best ever KEL's. I could definitely see Wilson hitting this particular bottom (heheh) and needing to go to that place and House reacting exactly this way. Plus you got my rough!talk fetish in there to the max.

And a gift coupon too? Lovely. I shall have to think carefully about how I wish to redeem it.

Thank you soooo very much. Having you in my fannish life is always a joy.

I knew you'd like it! *beams* I didn't feel up to getting terribly graphic with the sex, but I'm glad you liked it anyway. Sorry about some of the typos, but as always, I was running late ^_^;;

This was really kind of a concept fic--do you remember when I wrote that Wilson/rentoby fic a while back? And then that 'Wilson jerks off while House watches and mocks' fic for mmom"? This was kind of supposed to be in the same vein. Actually, I might write some more of this, since House isn't actually as sangine about this development as he might seem here. ^_^ yay angst!

I think you have a Freudian slip in there: "When he slapped up, called Lucas 'Greg' one night," I'm assuming you mean "slipped."

Additionally, guh to sub!Wilson. I'm curious to know what happens next. A one-month-later deal or something. =)

Too late--K-gal already informed me! She also mentioned that it might be Freudian. =P

I'm curious to know what happens next.

I won't lie to you--if I were to do such a piece, it would not be happy.

I like the theory that Wilson likes being talked down to like that, being regarded with disdain instead of adoration, because he doesn't have to pretend; it makes a lot of sense in the context of his friendship with House. I like Wilson practically luring House into figuring out what's going on, even if he's doing it subconsciously; pretending it's not interesting, bribing him with food to change his mind, baiting him with the clue about 'when would he have time,' "slipping up" on the night he "breaks up" with Lucas, as if part of him knows House is out there, listening.

Plus, Wilson/OMC - never a bad thing.

Hee, thank you. I had to have some theory about why this would appeal to Wilson, though for what it's worth, I don't really believe that Wilson is this broken.

You know, subtlety isn't really my thing--in fact, I prefer just the opposite, in-depth exposition, so I was worried about how much of what I was trying to say here I actually came out and said, and how much I was able to imply. =/ Wilson is subconsciously daring House to find out, which should have made House wary to begin with. After all, when Wilson really wants to hide things, he's more than proven that he can ( ... )

Fabulous fic, especially the way it turned out - I thought it could have gone either way there. Love Lucas, love what Wilson needs from him, the obvious H/W affection and the way that kind of twisted dance works better for them than just talking about it.

Thanks! This was something of a concept for for me, but in the end I left it with the moderately happy ending rather then piling on some more angst. It's like ... angst, but with a pleasant, minty aftertaste. ^_^

That was oh so hot.

Best line: so unless I'm screwing you behind your back...

And what a way to end it. Wonderful and hot.

Best line:

Ha! I quite loved that line myself. It just seemed very much something Wilson would say.
