She took his hand, not exactly used to the treatment, but not one to bristle about it. He was just being polite, after all. She recognized the name, but hadn't been here much. Truth be told, it was a nice surprise.
"Hole-in-the-wall places usually have the best food," she remarked as she followed him into the restaurant.

He led the way to the restaurant until they came to the door. Like the gentleman his father had raised him to be, he opened it and ushered Lisbon in first. Even on his part, it was only half-conscious. He'd been well trained, and the training had become second nature.
"I spoke with the owner, and he assured me that their dinners were even better than their lunches, and lunch was fantastic."

"We're the only ones here," she remarked, a little distantly, as she was distracted with taking in the surroundings as well. "The owner agreed to it?"

It didn't hurt that, in certain circles, the name 'Falcone' was known even out here. But it would hurt the mood of the evening if the CBI agent knew that. After all, using his family name to get things probably didn't go too well with Mario's story that he had nothing to do with his father's "business."
He settled in and picked up the menu. "Shall we order wine? Or would you prefer not? I know your job is a fairly on-call one."
