Crying now. Oh, God. This is just so.... so.... canon. And that last sentence... that's one of the first things I thought when they shot him. He's with Dee now. (And they're throwing popcorn at various Adamas' heads.)

This was just beautiful. The way Felix is rationalizing, the way he's got the whole Lady Macbeth thing going on, Dee's sadness and anger and understanding... not so much of what he's doing, but that he accepts death. It's dark, but so's the story.

This is an awesome arc so far- I can't wait for the third part!

It is comforting to think of Gaeta and Dee, sitting together with buckets of popcorn on the front row of the Opera House. Cos I totally see the Opera House as the BSG version of heaven.

I've heard a few Felix/Lady Macbeth comparisons in reviews. They certainly seem to go through a similiar PTSD breakdown.

Glad you are liking this so far!

Oh Gods, like I haven't cried enough lately. That last line was a killer. How do you do it? This is so in character for both of them. Including Felix's "If people are upset then they should go through the proper channels." and Dee's "It needs to be taken apart and put back together again." was a great touch!

I love the nail scrubbing aspect, cleaning all the metaphorical blood on this hands and that rationalizing speech while crying... Poor Felix is so frakked up in the head. Loving it.

His curls were beginning to look a little wild again, but he had no time for a haircut.

Oh a shallow note, thank the Gods for busy schedules.

Thanks! Sorry for the crying. The last line was actually a steal from the TWoP recap which kept saying that Felix wanted Anastasia to call him home. I really enjoy this friendship. It is interesting to look back at S2 when Dee was the rebel and Felix was the one who followed the rules.

Yes, it seems like I always love the sick-in-the-head characters on BSG. Mind you that description goes for most of them. And yes, I love how Felix's mental state is often reflected in the bigness of his hair! *pets curls*

It's funny, in Felix's final scene with Baltar, when he's smoking his cigarette... I was totally thrown off by how neat his nails looked. Like, it was so Felix, and it made everything that much more great and terrible. I think it's those little details that really get to me in the end, and it's one of the reasons why I like your stories so much.

"Look at that..." Felix muttered, "...little Ana’s got her smile back."

Oh... so eerie and sad! Heh, I could always use more hallucinatory conversations on BSG (makes me miss Baltar's Head-Six conversations from season 1).

You don't think Gaeta would stage a coup without manicuring first, do you? Boy has standards to keep up. I'm glad you are into the details. That is my passion too.

This was so sad. It really got to me that Felix has grown obsessed with scrubbing his fingernails, but has to take such pains just to take a shower.

You have such a great grasp on characters. It killed me when Felix started crying. And I'm very much looking forward to Boomer!

Thank you! I can't really imagine that old Battlestar was very comfortable for people with disabilities. It must have been a huge strain. Very sad.

I'm looking forward to writing Boomer too!
