Synopsis: A three-part hauntings fic. Dee recieves a visit from Billy before her suicide. Felix recieves a visit from Dee before his mutiny. Boomer recieves a visit from Felix while she is locked in the Brig. They reach out towards their respective ghosts. They reach for a place where bullets can no longer wound them.

Amazing chapter, I just adore the ghostly side to it! They are so in character and the dialogue is just spot on!

He swore he would protect the people of the Colonies, but he...he’s letting the cylons walk all over us. It’s the same thing! It all happened before and now it’s happening again

Well, you've done it again. (cue weeping) This piece is all the more tragic because it captures the depth and breadth of Felix's character. We get his idealism, his convictions, his bitterness, his affection for Dee, even hints of his cynical defense mechanism. It makes his eventual fatalism that much more crushing. The last exchange between the two? Total heartbreak.
Can I rest when it is over?

Thank you so much! I'm so pleased you think that I conveyed all that in just this one short scene. Felix is quite a cocktail. It is hard to mix all his flavours just right.

Even before the mutiny he's resigned himself to death. Poor guy, but it's probably true.

Thanks! (still loves your icon). Yes, I think Felix would be aware that he stood a good chance of getting killed but it was the same as when he worked as a spy. Felix has been risking death for a while.
