Great ending to a wonderful story and feels somewhat stronger than the interlude:) It was a great way to end:)

I just love Desmond and Charlie's interactions. I'm going to miss it on the show...

Chesmond hug!!!! Best. Thing. Ever.

What a great way to end this story and well worth the long painful wait. Loved how you had a role reversal for Charlie and Claire. It was really, really nice seeing her caring for Charlie. And I loved her interaction with Desmond! And poor Charlie struggling with Jacob manipulating him.

And Locke... I love the way you ended it with him and Charlie choice of words. "Fate was a con" I could just imagine Locke's pitiful face at that statement. Awesome.

And to end it with the Chesmond hug... so touching and perfect.

I've been wanting to write a Chesmond hug for ages! I've never been able to find the right moment. I didn't want it to feel too sappy (or slashy!) Glad it worked for you.

I guess I was really harsh on Locke in this fic, but I feel like he has become really destructive since the S2 finale. He doesn't seem to care who suffers on his quest for destiny. I felt he needed a slap in the face.

I think I'm glad you coaxed this out of me, pace. I had been ready to wrap up, but I actually enjoyed writing this final chapter and it does make a stronger ending.

Was the Charlie possession stuff angsty enough for ya? I liked revisiting the F&W visions and giving them meaning. And also having Claire, etc, showing some concern that Charlie was very upset and distressed over these visions, which nobody seemed to care about last time.
