Okay we'll go with this. half his remaining stack is ~$75, and the pot is ~$90. If he just calls, what's your river line? Put the rest in on a safe river and c/f(??) a bad river? c/c the remaining $75 to win $325 on any river? Are you good here often enough to make this the right play on even the 7h, which is obv. the worst possible card to come?
And what makes this play better than the c/r AI (he sees me as aggro and floats, then tries to take it away when I "give up") or, if that misses, might induce a bluff if he whiffs the river with a draw or (rarely) vb's a blank with a worse made hand (admittedly, I'd always bet a safe river so that's unlikely)?

CR is bad because he's likely to check behind with all of the hands that have the potential to beat you. you said he's passive...passive players don't really float to try to bluff you off a hand. they call down and check ( ... )
