so i think i figured out what's wrong with me. i've never been completely and totally single. well, i have, but it's been a long time. i didn't technically always have a boyfriend, but for a year curtis was always there, and i knew it wasn't ever over. then i stopped talking to him for danny, and that didn't turn out well and now i've got nothin.

So.... go do something. You're smart and you're in college. There are things to do. Clubs to join. Books to read. If nothing else, go to the library and see how many dirty books you can find. Go work out in the gym. Find a little kid and be a mentor. Go to a museum. Find someone pretentious and laugh at him. Take a shower. Sunbathe on the roof. Walk to a store you can't afford, and try on clothes you have no intention of buying. Go to a movie. Get a milkshake, in a flavor you've never had. Billions of things to do, even without a guy.

You wouldn't recognize my name even if I told you. I'm a friend of a friend, which is how I wandered onto your blog -- I was reading hers, and yours was linked. I'm much older than you. But seriously... you're young, smart, pretty, and in your freshman year in college. There are a million things for you to do, if only grab your favorite book and go sit under a tree and either read or just watch people
