I want a Vorkosigan deck [g]. Miles is the Fool, of course. For some reason, though, I see Aral as the Emperor (mostly because Cordelia has to be the Empress), and Gregor as the Hierophant. The green silk room could be the wheel of fortune...

My problem is, I've been working with that Arthurian tarot for so long, I've forgotten most of the traditional names for the major arcana cards (not to mention the suits).

Love your idea of a Vorkosigan deck! I'll have to make my list. I agree with you absolutely about Miles, Aral, and Cordelia. I might make Simon Illyan the Heirophant, though. Let me think.

Don't be impressed - I had to look a couple of them up. But I'm getting there.

The suits are Cups, Wands (or Rods), Coins (or Pentacles), and Swords. Are they different in the Arthurian Deck?

I don't recall who/what Prydwen was. Drat. Have to look it up. Ah - Arthur's ship. In place of The Chariot. Fitting. I covet that deck!

Miles is a good pick for The Fool. Gregor is good as the Heirophant. Mark and Kareen is good for the Lovers, though I'm not sure how best to determine which of many couples to put here. If it were "Bujold books in general", I'd maybe say Dag and Fawn. Elena and Baz would work, too.

I do have one question for you. Why do you spell hierophant as heirophant? Everywhere else I've read about the Tarot I've seen it spelled hierophant.
