well, obviously :( my asking was a wild shot at best.
and thanks for the link to the excerpt - i really should get a habit of checking online news, once in a while. surprisingly, i find McNeill more and more squee-inducing, ever since the amazing imagery of 'Dead Sky': total industrialisation! surgical extravaganza! bizarre freaks in leather! double hurray for all three points, and then some :D. i squeed over 'Fulgrim's references to Wilde, Blake [and Ayn Rand *cringe*], but some raw machismo is an absolutely different dish.
may in fact have jumped half out of my chair
weeee! that's all i need to know! ))

And oh, McNeill. ♥ He is getting so much better as an author every time he picks up a pen, it's amazing. I mean, I remember thinking Storm of Iron was great, and now I reread it and while still great, it pales in comparison to what came after. I believe there's a rumour that the Iron Warriors may get another full-length novel, too! Hopefully this is true.
Then again I don't think McNeill has the final say on the subject any more - he does mention in the introduction to the reprint of Storm that he's no longer entirely sure which of he and Honsou owns who... *grin*
