Tegomasu no Ai at Nagano Shimin Kaikan
I have to be honest here, my memories are all jumbled up and I can't really remember what happened for which show. Which is why I have combined all my memories for the Nagano concerts into a single report. And pls forgive any factual mistakes in there. Anyone who attended the cons or read other reports, pls feel free to correct me where there are mistakes.
This report is also focused on things that are not likely to appear in a dvd release, so I won't say too much about the songs, but will leave you to watch them if and when a dvd is released :).
And as usual, beware of spoilers!

Before Con
Fans have developed a call for Tegomasu, for both before the show and the encore, and it goes 'Tegomasu *clap clap clap*'.
Neiro
For N1 and N2 Tegomasu appeared on the side stages, while for N3 and N4 they appeared on the walkway in front of the third level audience and sang there, standing on boxes. I was lucky enough to be on the left side of the 2nd row of the 3rd level for N4, very near to Tego. I also saw him running past us when he was getting into position XD. Close up, his hair is golden brown and nicely curled and just VERY NICE, and his eyes shiny under the spotlights. I was staring at his eyes and forgot to look at anything else, and I even hardly heard the song. As usual, I turn into a dimwit (or mebbe I just AM a dimwit *shrugs*) everytime Tego comes near = =. Massu was also quite close (he came out from the other door) but from my position it was a little hard to see him, so I just left my good pal and Massu-dan
stahsee to do the honours LOL.
For N3, I was on the 3rd seat next to the aisle on the 2nd floor, and managed to touch (erm actually, I got carried away and it's a bit more like 'hit' *bows in apology to Massu and Massu fans*) Massu as he was moving towards the stage.
Kimi+Boku=Love
Lots of small actions for this song! Massu points to the audience at 'kimi no koto dou omou ka?' (cue kyaaaas) and falls onto the floor at each 'ara'. Sometimes Tego joins Massu in falling XD. At 'hashiri saroutoshita te wo nigittara (when I grab the hand that is about to go)', Massu runs on the spot and extends his hand backwards to Tego, who grabs either Massu's hand or wrist with both hands and 'runs' behind Massu (cue kyaaaas again). Sometimes Massu swings his arm sideways vigorously while Tego is holding on to it LOL.
At 'suki na ko ha inai no ka (is there any girl you like)', Tegomasu put their hands over their eyes like they're looking for someone in the audience (cue kyaaas), and for one show Massu looked at Tego for 'akarui ko ga ii na (a lively girl would be nice)' awwwwww.
At 'me wo tojiru tabi (every time I close my eyes)' Tegomasu jump or run on the spot and cover their eyes with their hands :D
Aisatsu (After Kimi+Boku=Love)
The boys jump at the end of the song, and usually Massu continues to bounce on his knees after landing on his feet. For some shows Tego joined him in bouncing, and in one of the shows he moved his head sideways to and fro when he straightened himself up. Massu, watching him coolly, asked him to repeat that 3 times and Tego didn't even resist. At the end, he said of Tego, "As expected, you have a strong heart (yappari, haato tsuyoi na~)". Massu so S, LOL. For another show, they faced each other while bouncing and then jumped together again! There was no music accompaniment so goodness knows how they managed to synchronise the jump. Mebbe one of them mouthed 'se-no' to the other person :)
Tego usually asks the fans whether they are having fun etc, and the fans will shout 'yeah' back at him at the end of every call. For one show, Massu shouted gibberish at the crowd and we still 'yeah'ed at him after every line, then Tego joined in with some gibberish and we still enthusiastically 'yeah'ed at him after every line. Later Tego said Tegomasu fans are 'yasashii' and apologised for their nonsense. LOL
Both Tego and Massu use the Tegoshi-desu handsign and cheeky voices to introduce themselves.
Chocolate
Jazzier and sexier, I like this version better than the version at the Uta con. In the middle there is a percussion solo, and Tegomasu take turns to do something interesting. When Tegoshi is serious he will do a cool 'na na na na na~', and when he's not he'll ask the audience, 'if it's a big piece of chocolate, everyone will like to eat it, right? (ookii chocolate, minna tabetai deshou?)'. And Massu is never serious, he'll ask for a big piece of chocolate (ookii chocolate, kudasai) or say that he'd just eaten a big piece of chocolate XD.
There's also a part where Tego will blow a kiss at the audience, and Massu will do a backflip @_@. In N3 Massu nearly fell off the edge of the stage at the end of his backflip (our hearts almost stopped). So in N4 he was more careful and started his backflip further away from the edge of the stage, and did a safer version where one leg lands first instead of having both his legs land together.
Before Moshimo Kono Sekai Kara OO ga Nakunattara
Tegomasu sometimes ask the girls to fan them with their uchiwa. They will then stand with their arms outstretched to enjoy the breeze, and say 'ahhhhh', and thank the audience. But Massu will also sometimes be cheeky and say things like 'hey, third floor, don't stop, don't think I can't see you' or 'oh so much dust' or 'the people in front can also feel the breeze from the people behind them right? But the people right at the back won't be able to feel anything' or point at someone and say 'hey why are you stopping?'. Tego will also tell us not to fan so vigoriously that the uchiwa flies off our hands. LOL
The boys try to find interesting ways to introduce this song everytime. For N1, they said that the atmosphere in the hall was very warm and humid as the fans were generating lots of water vapour. And when water vapour condenses it becomes ROUND(marui) water droplets, and didn't they have a song with the words maru maru in it? And when the news reports cloudy weather, the symbol used is made up of 2 circles, and when the news reports relative humidity, the percentage sign is used and doesn't the sign have 2 circles in it? What a COINCIDENCE (guuzen da ne)! But Massu also said that the percentage has a 'SLASH' in the middle, and Tegomasu kept saying 'SLASH' while chopping the air with their hands LOL.
For N2, Tego started wondering why uchiwa were all ROUND, but Massu kept acting like he didn't understand and took a long time to follow through with Tego. To fill up the gap, Tego was like 'oh you know, there's a famous group that made their debut in Europe and has come to Nagano for the first time, and one of their songs have the words maru maru in it. What a COINCIDENCE!' For another show, Tegomasu pulled out their chairs (the chairs are for Aiaigasa and Hajimete no Asa, when they would sing while seated) and lined them up, and found that the seats were ROUND! What a COINCIDENCE! LOL
Massu said during one show that that they would find 200 coincidences for their 200 performances. We, including Tego, were like 'eh?' and laughing our heads off.
Hajimete no Asa
There was once Massu forgot to sing 'itsuka'. After the song he put on his cap again and Tego was like 'you mean you want to start all over again?' (Massu wears his cap only during the first 2 songs), and Massu was like 'yeah I'm perfectionistic'. We cheered our approval LOL. And Tego said 'then can you at least let me bathe first?'. BWAHAHAHAHHA
Then Tego was like 'you should apologise for forgetting to sing' and Massu was like 'domo sumimasen deshita!' like in the news reports XD
Before Kesenai
The hilarity of this segment! After Hajimete no Asa, staff would take the chairs away and place Tego's pink mike stand on the centre of the stage. And usually, Massu would try to usurp the pink mike stand XD.
N1-
T: There is just 1 mike stand which means it is time for the first ever solo corner at a Tegomasu con.
M: Yes, it is time for my solo.
T: No wait, look at the colour of the mike stand.
M: It's pink. *looks at Tego with a 'so what?' expression*
But finally Tego manages to get Massu to acknowledge that it is actually Tego's turn LOLOLOLOL
N2-
Massu sticks his mike into the mike stand.
T: (Deep voice) Mmmmmm- mmmmmm- something is wrong- look at the colour of the mike stand- it's pink
Massu removes his mike from the stand.
T: That's correct.
Massu walks towards the piano, then walks past the piano. Tego and audience ask him to come back.
At another show Massu sticks his mike onto the stand. Tego pretends not to see and tries to stick his mike onto the stand, and is repelled backwards when he hits his mike on Massu's mike.
Massu also sometimes fools around with the piano keys before Kesenai. Once he played the level up theme for Dragon Quest, and once the victory theme for Final Fantasy. For Dragon Quest Massu got the last key wrong every time and Tego asked Massu to at least know what is the right key before playing the song onstage LOL. According to one of their conversations Massu actually had piano lessons when he was younger (I didn't know)! But Massu said piano was considered a girly thing then so he gave it up.
And then once he played Kesenai one octave higher. Ignoring Tego's complaints that it was too high, he continued playing and the band joined in the mischief. It sounded terrible LOL, with some of the instruments at the original pitch and others at the higher octave. All the instruments ground to a halt after the intro and Tego was like 'kimi ga kureta~' in a sharp, super high voice. AHHAHAHAHA
And once Massu made a mistake. He played the first line perfectly, then suddenly he stopped playing (like he forgot the next part or something) and bent over his keyboard, all flustered and embarassed. Instead of ribbing him, Tego said to the audience, 'we didn't see that, did we?' and everyone was like 'no, we didn't!'. Awwwwww, the love.
Boku no Cinderella
The elephants appear at the sides of the stage, Massu on the left and Tego on the right. They throw their signed balls while singing.
It seems that Massu really picks the people he wants to throw the balls to, unlike Tego who kind of just throws them at random. So sometimes he actually has balls left over, because he can't find people he really wants to throw them to!
Chu Chu Chu-teaching
When you think things can't get more fun or hilarious or ridiculous, it does~
Tegomasu teach the dance steps of Chu Chu Chu and go all nuts doing it. For 'Chu Chu Chu' Tego does the first chu and says it in a high pitched voice like he's throwing it and it flies away and disappears into the distance (I wonder if this is understandable at all? LOL). So sometimes Massu will say 'purang~' like the Chu has disappeared into the distance.
In another version Tego's chu sounds like it's fireworks flying into the sky and Massu says 'pang' like the fireworks are exploding.
Massu does the second chu and does it in a very low voice, or sounds like he's vomiting hahahahhaha.
Then the audience does the third chu towards them, and they spread out their arms and go 'ahhhh' like they're basking in the kisses, or make 'disgusting' ohh ooh ahhh noises XD.
N3 -
Somewhere in the middle of teaching, can't remember why, but Tego introduced a strange handsign (clench your hand into a fist, then stick your thumb and last fingers out like you are making a call), and suddenly Massu decided to stick it into the dance steps. So instead of flapping our arms at 'hanikande warau kimi ga suki dayo', we ended up sticking our arms out and making the hand sign while flipping our wrists side to side LOL.
Then when Massu touched his thigh he said 'Ronaldinho' (retired Brazillian football player) instead of 'thigh' as he usually does. Tego went berserk and started rambling about how great Ronaldinho's dribbling skills are and grabbed his water bottle from his table and started to demonstrate while Massu looked on coolly (proof again that Massu is really an 'S' and Tego is really an 'M'!). When he was done Massu said 'Rooney' (English player) and Tego said 'Rooney?' and looked a little lost and finally decided to mimick him by raising an arm to the sky.
After the first round of teaching Tego would ask Massu to do an extra slow round, and Massu would sing in a very low voice (like you were playing a record very slowly)!
N1-
He sounded like an enka singer. Somewhere in the middle he said he thought it would be good to inject a bit of Japanese flavour (wa fuu) into the song LOL
N2-
He sounded like an old man.
It's hilarious every time he does it coz he's become really good at playing with his voice XD
After the second round Tego would ask Massu to do one round at normal speed. But Massu would make a sound like when you fast forward a song and move his arms and legs super quickly.
N1-
At the end he had one arm outstretched, and he started flapping it around like he was a zombie. When he kept doing it and refused to stop, Tego started it too and ran all the way off the stage.
N4-
Massu decided that the dance steps were not cool enough and started to customise them to make them more crisp. So he introduced huge hip hoppy movements into each move and then started to behave like a strict dance instructor (he said that as young Johnnys, this was how they were taught to dance). During 'hanikande warau kimi ga suki dayo' Tegomasu are supposed to open and close their legs, and Massu went to Tego and said 'Your legs are not opened wide enough. Your legs are like that (demonstrates what Tego was doing), but mine are LIKE THAT! (opens his legs wide in 1 swift movement).' We were amused and scared all at same time (Massu kibishiiiii~).
At the end of this segment for one of the shows, Tegomasu talked about how this segment was getting longer and longer, and Tego apologised for their nonsense (waru fusake).
Chu Chu Chu
The whole dance is really adorable!
N1-
After the 1st chorus Tegomasu link arms and 'go walking'. Massu keeps pointing to Tego with a 'sweet' smile like saying 'this is my boyfriend, isn't he wonderful?'
N2-
After the 1st chorus Massu 'runs' alongside Tego with a 'sweet' grin and swinging his right hand around like a delighted schoolgirl LOL but keeps falling to the floor (on purpose, of course! LOL). At the end of that segment Tego asks 'daijoubu?'
After 'yawaraka na egao ni koishiteru', Massu has an arm around Tegoshi's waist and they are supposed to 'go walking', but this time Massu lifts Tego up, while continuing to walk (is Massu strong or Tego is light or what)! Tego had no choice but to suspend his legs in mid-air and gags while trying to sing.
N3-
Massu keeps falling to the floor again, but Tego stops to ask 'daijoubu?' after every fall.
Massu lifts Tego again after 'yawaraka na egao ni koishiteru'.
N4-
Massu keeps falling to the floor again, and this time drags Tego down with him everytime he falls. Tego asks 'daijoubu?' and helps him up after every fall. XD
For 'hachimitsu tabetai (I want to eat honey)' Massu said 'ringo tabetai (I want to eat apples)' instead, as Nagano is famous for their apples.
Cheetah Gorilla Orangutan
There is a segment where they split the audience into half, where the left half will sing 'lalala' with Tego and the right half will sing with Massu. Mischievous Massu acts up here, he'd cross his arms and try to look annoyed when Tego's half sings, only to start jumping around happily soon after that (like he wants to be annoyed at the rival team but can't), and the band members in his team 'try' to make him stop. For Tego, when his half sings he and the band members in his team will link shoulders and jump with the rhythm, and even when Massu's half sings he'd stick his head out towards Massu's half and listen to the singing :3
There was once when Massu forgot that it was his half's turn, but he insisted that he didn't forget (so cheeky!).
After Kisu~ Kaerimichi no Love Song
N4-
Usually Tegomasu thank the band, the audience and themselves, but this time we spotted Massu talking to Tego, and Tego also thanked their staff and the staff at the Nagano hall. How wonderful these boys are :3.
Curtain call
The boys seemed determined that they would not perform more than the first encore. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, I recall during the one of the shows for Uta, Massu was so tired and could hardly sing during Zutto. Everytime we called them back they would walk slowly or sprint across the stage (sometimes Massu would pretend to fall onto the floor LOL), and finally return to the stage to give their thanks again.
N2-
Tego asked 'you called for us (yonda)?' before appearing XD
N4-
They promised again and again that they'd be back and practically pleaded for everybody to let them off LOL.
