Soon as I start working again, I'm springing for a membership. It's not terrible per year & it's worth it for the members only events (they had one earlier this year with Jimmy Fallon, then a vintage movie event with all these great throwback movie stars)
That Amy was so great and everyone loves her...man, I've always adored her - I'll admit, she was the reason I started watching, and the reason I stuck around even while not loving s1 - and to know she's that great? FEELINGS.
Nick Offerman being amazing AS USUAL and Chris Pratt as adorbs as I've always hoped? FEELINGS.
"Know Your Boo?" FEELINGS.
That you met them and got laughs and smiles...the look on my boo's face (well, my other boo, as daybythelake is my online boo), when he made two of his comedy idols (David Cross and Patton Oswalt) laugh is forever etched in my mind as a glorious memory, and now imagining that look on your adorbs lil face? SO. MANY. FEELINGS.
In short? CAPSLOCK IEKJHGDTVRBNM,IRCEVBNMUJCVBNMUVCXCVBNM,!!1!11111!ELEVEN!1!!! FEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELINGSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
They really really do love her. It's totally obvious and it filled me with glee.

Seeing Nick was just epic, because as much as he is Ron Effing Swanson, he's Nick Effing Offerman. Cute moment after Ausiello asked where Ron ended and Nick began: "Well, if I ate like Ron, I'd be dead from a coronary embolism...that's a real thing, right?" *cast nods*
And Chris Pratt! Michael Schur went on and on and on about what an amazing actor he is, and how he can totally surprise them with his range. And he was so sweet with the fans. Someone had a Mouse Rat shirt for him to sign and he flipped out "Aww man, is that a Mouse Rat shirt?!?" I love seeing them so excited about stuff like that.
I'm pretty sure my face was some combination of :O:O:):D:D:D:D
Dude, my girl P and I were just talking about how awesome in general Nick is. Like, he's not at all attractive, but it's like everything I read or hear him say just fills me with...FEELINGS. He's comic genius in all he does.
And oh, Chris Pratt. ♥ He's just so damn loveable! And I love when actors get genuinely excited when fans (sanely) show their love.
PS, a gal on my flist was interested in starting to read some Ben/Leslie the other day. I PIMPED YOUR SHIT LIKE MY RENT WAS DUE. ;)
Chris Pratt stood up and applauded when aubrey was introduced? I just DIED from cuteness. I can't believe I haven't read that yet... and I've been stalking the internet for every piece of parks and rec paleyfest info I can find (which is how I find this post. ha!)
They have amazing chemistry together. I hope the writers plan to keep andy/april together for the long haul. Any other andy/april or chris/aubrey notable moments? :D
I know that at one point (I think it was when Chris was saying that he always gets auditions for the jerk character), Aubrey rubbed/patted his back. I think they're very good friends :)
And as for Andy/April, "Harvest Festival" is a great episode for them, that's all I'll say.
Omg, thank you for the recap and letting us live vicariously through you! It sounds like an awesome time. I love that they all love Amy so much, and I have to admit I fangirled when you said Chris Pratt stood up and applauded for Aubrey. I LOVE THIS CAST.

Paley events are pure gold. I cannot wait for them to release more of their NY Spring/Summer programming.

I've loved Chris Pratt since his Everwood days, and it makes me happy to see him break out in the comedy world.
