I haven't been on here in such a long time, so I sortof assumed that everyone else had left LJ too. My friends page only shows most recent entries up to a point, and so now I am in the process of catching up with all of yours.

I'm glad you're still on here (it feels a lot more intimate and selective than facebook!). I hope, and believe, that real friendship can and will endure. I know what you mean about moving on and changing, but I just think that different friendships have different life-spans: some are temporary and fun while they last, while others can take up a whole life-time (but those are undoubtedly special). Anyway the point is, I would say that you do have true and loyal friends, even if you don't see them all the time and they happen to live in London ;-) xxx
