I seem to have read some excellent books recently Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver, Linger by Maggie Stiefvater and Gone by Michael Grant, however it was only Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins that compelled be to make a post about it. Note to self: Ensure Mum is listening when telling her you've done 9 weeks of placement, as this can lead to a slight misunderstanding. It is also bad for her health, as it puts her at greater risk of a heart attack (apparently) :)

Can you make mid-year resolutions? I arrived home from work tonight to the news that my parents have made an appointment at the vets for our dog, Roly, on Tuesday. The vet will be giving him a check over and letting us know, in her opinion, if she feels it would be more fair to have him put to sleep. Apparantly the last post I was writing from the computer was about twisting my ankle the other Sunday, playing Netball. At the time, I was unable to weight bear on my right leg and was having to take the day off sick from the hospital.
