o I thought I had commented on this fic when it was posted in the exchange, but it seems I was wrong. Anyway, I absolutely adore this story. Everything is so graphic, I could perfectly picture everything as I was reading.

I absolutely loved the bitchyness of Baekhyun. He really is such a diva, but you could see he really cared for his friends, even if he did a bad job of showing it. And the Baekyeol! Oh my gosh, it was so beautiful watching them fall in love slowly. I was crying when Baekhyun almost died. The Phoenix thing was really cool too.

WHY MINSEOK? Why did you have to kill him? Luhan didnt even feel bad about it. Bastard. But even though it was sad, I knew there were reasons for him and Yixing. You really seem to have done your research, Everything seemed right on.

Again, I really loved this fic. Thank you for the wonderful read^-^

i don't usually feel compelled to comment on fics, not because they're not good, but because i'm generally pretty lazy. but this one was really too well written to ignore.

i just want you to know i shed so many silent tears while reading this. srsly, your plot was very well-thought out, and i def enjoyed all the small details you paid attention to. like the different Elven kingdoms and the various magical creatures you featured here - (but omg why is maknae line evil, cries).

the deaths were really too much for me, but i wouldn't prefer it any other way (jokes, i'd actually prefer no deaths, but y'know). so thanks for this beautiful piece.

First off, this is amazing. I haven't read a full-length adventure story in a very, very long time, and this just brings back memories of me buying adventure fantasy books and losing myself into it because this is just so freaking amazing. I want it printed out so I can touch the words and flip over the pages and point at my favourite parts and put bookmarks on the parts that made me laugh and cry and frown because this story feels so real it's not even fiction, I was drowned in this story, Kayleigh

I have read this! Finally! And, perhaps that's an odd word to use for rejoicing- I read this in small gulps, sometimes losing sleep to get through another segment, only to take a break and find all other stories/fics inadequate to the world you were creating. And sometimes I needed to stop so that I could recover and brace myself for whatever comes next

I SWEAR!!!! For the first round BAE had some amazing fics! I think all the long fics were amazing! (though I only read a few, but the feedback on the long fics I saw was really good. I still have to read all of them. BACK TO THE POINT NOW-) I'm to going to comment on everything in the exact order it is in my brain: SCRAMBLED!

ChanBaek: I don't know what this says about me but I'm thinking about the first time they almost fucked and I can't get the image out. Holy fuck! It was great LOL. I have a thing for that kind of thing. LOL. I think I lost my filter and am going to write every kind of stupid thing. shit. ok. nm. deep breaths. The best thing I found about ChanBaek here was the growth. There was always something from the beginning, a little spark, oooohhhh the sexual tension! And it didn't immediately bloom into anything for them, in fact, they were held apart by circumstance and beliefs and their personalities

Yes the most important thing for me is character growth and development and I HATE rushing things.

Which was actually the point and I LOVE that you pointed out the difference between chanbaek & suchen because suchen acted a lot differently -- they were attracted to each other and jumped into some panic relationship based on "holy shit we need each other we're going to die" so when that was ripped away from Jongdae he just sort of collapsed because "Holy shit everyone's going to die" you know? He had this false idea of some kind of twisted love.

and yeah.. tbh when I was writing I originally thought of not having a romantic plot at all .. I kept stopping and going "fuck where do I put the romance"
