Game Rules
1⁞ RESPECT.
This one is pretty simple; respect each other, respect the mods, and respect the game. Treat each other (and each others' characters! remember, ic =/= ooc) courteously and fairly, listen to the mods, and be mindful of the rules!
2⁞ NO DRAMA.
We all know what this means; you start conflicts with other players, you will be warned. If you have a personal problem with another player, please either try to put it aside for this RP or contact a mod and we'll do our best to help you work it out.
3⁞ THREE STRIKES AND YOU'RE OUT.
If you constantly break the rules, disrespect others, and make people uncomfortable, you will be asked to leave the community. We know this may sound harsh, but the quickest way to kill a game is to continue to allow unproductive and uncooperative players to cause conflict.
The mods reserve the right to kick anyone out of the game without three strikes building up if we feel the offense is serious enough. This can include things such as application plagiarism and serious harassment of another player.
4⁞ ON METAGAMING, GODMODING, & FOURTH WALL BREAKING.
METAGAMING: You cannot use your outside knowledge to give your character an advantage. They know what they know, not what you know.
GODMODING: No controlling other characters unless given permission by the player to do so. Also, be reasonable with your character as well; very few characters have the ability to walk away unscathed from everything.
FOURTH WALL BREAKING: No acknowledging reality outside of the RP while still in character. It ruins the magic, after all.
5⁞ STAY ACTIVE.
Activity checks will be held once every month. Every four weeks, we would like you to have completed at least two active threads OR one active log. These requirements are per character, not per player. Also, remember to try to thread with everyone! A player can only be active if they're open to threading with others and others open to threading with them.
6⁞ MATURE CONTENT.
Characters are allowed to have relations with each other, but there are some guidelines we would like you to follow
CONSENSUAL: Sex must be consensual, both by players and characters.
BELIEVABLE: There are games out there if all you want is to thread smut. Here, we'd like to see at least a little CR first.
LOCK YOUR POSTS: If a thread digresses into sex, please lock your post.
POST A WARNING LABEL: Should your thread digress into sex, please either add a rating label to your post if it is a log, or add a warning in a comment title if it is a regular thread. The label is to let players who read most posts avoid yours if they wish not to read smut. Threads that fade to black before anything becomes graphic do not need to be locked or include a warning label.
7⁞ CHARACTER GUIDELINES & LIMITS.
The current character limit is 5 per mun, and a game-wide limit of 275. We allow original characters, fandom characters, and alternate reality or other canon alternate versions of characters. Duplicates, AUs, Fandom OCs, and real people (including everyone from actors/actresses to historical figures) are not allowed.

8⁞ TAKE IT TO THE MODS.
If you have a problem with another player, a problem with the RP, these rules, or any other problem, take it to the mods first. It's better to solve things in the beginning than to wait until they're out of control!
