Turn off television. Turn off computer. Sit in the middle of the floor, or your bed, or a hot bath. Breathe. Think about absolutely nothing. Ask yourself big life thinky type questions - Do I really believe that or do I believe it because I think I should? Stuff that makes your head go wonky.

Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

I did it for a year in Lubbock, when I had the luxury of ignoring the world for several months. It's astoundingly useful.

Well, I have to say I get this. Not just generally but specifically in most every area. First, El Paso, what's taht all about anyway. I was made fun of the other day because it was pointed out that in many ways I am culturally hispanic (it had to do with admirig a "Fast and Furious style automobile). Its just not like anywhere else, for good and bad ( ... )
