After a moment of checking the peephole to make sure it wasn't any of the drunks from the sports bar down the street, the red painted wooden door was opened to let Edie in.

Quite positive that anybody bearing cupcakes and juice pouches was harmless as could be, a bright smile greeted him waving him inside with the whisk that rested in her hand. "Hey..Richie right? Come on in, nobody's replied yet except for Elle."

Though she had absolutely no idea what a "Puppy Bowl" was, Eleanor wasn't about to pass up a get-together at Edie's. After a quick Compendium chat about snacks, she gathered her things, a key to the apartment, and her handbag. A stop at the closest grocery store later, she found herself ringing the bell. She juggled the plastic sack of groceries, scooping it into her arms long enough to free a hand, which went up to pull her knit cap from her head.

The plastic sack made a metallic sound as the cans of root beer inside knocked against each other. A bag of Doritos peeked from the top, and wrapped in a second plastic sack was a package of chicken. Chicken was sports-watching food, right? She also had celery, because she was Eleanor and she couldn't leave the store without a healthy option for the people who cared about such things.
