If they showed..and that was all that was left to worry about. )
Richie was quite proud of himself - going to a stranger's house (a strange girl, no less) all on his own was a real step forward for him, he thought. Smiling, he nodded and stepped in. "Hi, yeah, hi. Richie," he told her, juggling with snacks for a moment until he had a hand to offer Edie to shake. "How's the Puppy Bowl been while I was in the cab?" he asked her.
Before Edie had a chance to answer, there was another person there; Richie stepped aside so that they could come in, shifting his weight and setting the cupcakes down on the nearest flat surface. They'd only gotten a little bit smushed on the journey there.

The Puppy Bowl wen it's it's Kitty Half time for it's second run, ignored in her answering the door.
"It's nice to meet you face to face dear. Oh Elle! Let me help you with those, silly." She was already reaching out to gather a bag from her friend feeling a sudden lightness coming over her with all of this company.
It was nice, to say the least, hell she hadn't even realized just how bored she had been before she'd started getting busy with the get together. But then, Edie was the type to thrive off of taking care of people, and entertaining.
"What is all of this?"

Once her hands were free, Eleanor tugged off her gloves and turned her attention to Richie. "Hi," she said, smiling a cheerful smile at him. "I'm Eleanor Fisher? Or Nore, or Elle, or Ellie. Whichever you like best. I'm not particular at all."

And now there were two girls? He just had to make sure he didn't get too nervous, was all. It was a real concern, because he got awfully nervous around new people. Especially girls. He flashed a small smile to Edie, then to Elle.
"Hi," he replied, waving all around. "I'm Richie. Sutton. Richie's fine. Nice to meet you," he said to her, and smiled a bit more. He gestured with his juice a little bit, and then picked up his cupcakes. "I brought juice and cupcakes." He made sure to take his shoes off at the door, so he didn't get her floor all dirty.

"You did, but that's no problem, I was just turning the oil on and trying to figure out what to fry...this will be perfect with the mozzarella I found." Edie's smile grew only brighter as she closed the door beckoning them both into out of the foyer and into the main living area where there wasn't much of a divider between the kitchen and the living room.
"Cupcakes! Wonderful, dear we were lacking in the dessert department." The bags were set on the counter before opening the oven to the bright smell of nuts and something reminiscent of curry. Shaking off the freshly roasted and toasted batch into the bowl she had left waiting on the stove top.
"I hope other people make it with this much food."

Nore followed Edie further into the apartment, and eventually just draped the coat over the nearest sofa or chair-arm. "Do you need help with the mozzarella and chicken? I'm not sure how to use a fryer, but I can do prep stuff."
