It was textbook, really.

The first club May had tried to be good, she had tried not to drink, but one wouldn't hurt. One had turned into two and two had turned into six and six had turned into a count that had been lost hours before.

She had called Perry if only because it was hard to have Kilroy there in the same town as her and not able to spend anymore time with her. The people at Promises wouldn't let her. So, she had left that evening and gone straight back to the hotel. After speaking with Perry, sure that her call had been more of a begging and pleading to have certain memories of Kilroy and May's time together wiped from her mind, she rushed down to the dress store in the hotel and bought something to make her feel fabulousThankfully, the People she was in hadn't come out yet, but the dress had reminded her of what they had put her in for the photoshoot. Of course, she knew, she knew he was still Perry, and that looking at him as some hunky fictional or non-fictional characters was wrong. It was Perry. However, that argument had probably gone out the door after the first tequila shot had been introduced to her system. After all, it was difficult to confuse the man that was now checking out Gloria with Kilroy if it weren't for the huge amounts of alcohol.

"Weeeellllllll... not as great as Gloria, but I'm great. Perry?" her words slurred in that way that proved that she had probably replaced any trace of blood in her system with Long Island Iced Teas. (It is May. It has Tea in the name. She has to drink at least three ( ... )
