Truth be told, coming home to find her male roommate curled up on the floor, looking like a child whose parents had forgotten to pick him up from karate practice, was not the strangest thing that had ever happened to Claudia Jane. She didn't think much of the small body as she had stepped over it (checking, of course, to ensure that he was still breathing) and dropped her purse off in her room before settling in on the couch.

It wasn't too long that she had been sitting there - maybe two or three commercial breaks had passed - before the warm body slid over the back of the couch and fell sloppily next to/on her. She giggled as the groggy boy spoke.

"Obviously!" She had been hoping that the Chinese food was up for grabs, but wasn't the type to steal food from a sleeping ninja. "Who doesn't like dumplings - that's the better question."

Jonas grinned brightly, because, hello, dumplings. Reaching the coffee table without falling on the floor or squashing C.J. took a concentrated effort, but he managed to grope at the cardboard containers with minimal damage. All of them had been aptly titled with a Sharpie for maximum Kung Fu experience. The one labeled Balls of Mighty Dragon was the winner, and he handed it over his shoulder to C.J. as he destroyed the tee-pee he'd made out of chopstick sets ( ... )

C.J. loved her life. Seriously, there really was nothing better than hanging out on the couch with non-zombies who appreciated mighty dragon balls and dumplings. Her roommates were amazing - Cassia never failed to make her smile, and Jonas never stopped making her laugh. Like now, for instance.

"Oh shut up, there's no writing on your face. I think you just slept on it wrong." Her giggles continued as she rubbed the creases on his face, possibly attempting to magically erase them with the power of her fingertips. No such luck.
