We just took a post-dinner walk, and went a little off-trail - down into the bed of Stevens Creek (dry this time of year). The banks of the creek are covered with blackberry bushes, and while not many are ripe yet, there are enough bushes that not many is still a LOT. I'm typing this with purple fingers.

Last night we had some raspberries with dinner. Ria took five of them, put them on the fingertips of one hand, and then said "Five raspberries on Ria's fingers... Roll over, Roll over... [eat one raspberry] Four raspberries on Ria's fingers... Roll over, Roll over... [eat one raspberry] Three..."
