MATT SMITH IS ELEVEN FTW!!!

I haven't seen the Confidential yet -my sisters taped it, luckily- but that will change in half an hour or so.

I'm really pleased it's him! I had noticed him in The Ruby in the Smoke as a really cute and shy guy and I think he will be a delightful doctor. Who's with me ( Read more... )

And what's up with RTD? Looked like he caught herpes or something.
I feel almost certain that the big huge peculiarly placed cheetah in the background had something to do with it.

As for the Eleven!drama that seems to be going on, you know how I feel about it. Reserving judgement for the moment, but not quite as thrilled as everyone else seems to be.

It wasn't so much the cheetah as the various pimples that were scattered around his mouth. eeew gross!

Nine: "You're such an idiot."

Saw the Confidential yesterday and I agree, I think he will do a good job... I hadn't though of anyone for the part myself and while I wouldn't have minded someone a bit older after so many youngsters I don't care at all, I have full confidence in Beeb casting someone brilliant... (it's the scripts that sometimes worry me:P). And hehehe, I do find him sort of cute so whatever happens that will always be enough to distract me ( ... )

I'm glad you're cheering for Eleven as well!

Like you, I didn't have anyone in particular in mind who absolutely had to become the next doctor. In a way that turned out better for me because now I'm not utterly desolated and disappointed with Matt Smith like some other people are.

Yes, the scripts are worrying at times. :D It's so typical for RTD's writing. Sometimes it's just spot on (I'm thinking Doomsday, Utopia, Midnight) and sometimes they're utter crack.

Male companions ahoy! But like you said, they can be from a different planet or era. I mean, Rosita wasn't from this day and age, but she would make a brilliant companion for any doctor I imagine.

I don't remember whether it was mentioned in the Confidential or in the Christmas Special Confidential, but it made me laugh out loud that David Tennant immediately said "I think I want to wear a long coat" when they asked him for DW. LOL!

Oh Rosita would have been a brilliant companion!

Hehehe, I think it was in this confidential where he said it - or RTD mentioned him saying it... It cracked me up too...

As for the scripts - hehehe, I'm just glad that my brain is so silly it can even embrace the crack despite it all:P
