Being utterly bored this morning, I popped in the copy of Happy Feet that my flatmate lent to me last night. It was a Chinese bootleg, so just like the famous Star Wars bootleg, the whole movie (even though in English) had nonsensical English subtitles.

I like that. If I saw this bootlegged version instead I might have been at lest slightly tempted to like it.

It was kind of boring. I had more fun reading the subtitles.
Though, it was interesting to see the controversial parts, like it being pro-immigration. And some of the CGI was very good.

Is it just me, or do those bootlegs read like a group of students passed around a bag of something hallucinogenic while each chipping in their 'translation'?
