Almost at once Eowyn begins her search for Sir Kay the Steward, or others who may suggest some form of occupation. Her restlessness outweighs even her distaste, and she finds herself eventually near the kitchens, though only after much wandering.

an open post! Feel free to stop her anywhere, if you'd like.

Kay is not that hard to find, as he's often muttering curses under his breath, or scowling at the refrigerator. Currently, he's looking at a sheet of paper with a frown, a piece of charcoal idly tapping against the edge of the paper.

'My lord?' asks Eowyn, though she looks first to see that there is none more idle to trouble in his stead.

"Yes?" He looks up, and adds, "my lady?"

'I look to find Sir Kay. Do you know of him, or where he may be found?'

Here, have a crazy elf again. Who is probably sitting in the kitchen drinking...something or other, frowning, and generally brooding, definitely more than just vaguely unhappy. Not quite visibly full on depressed, but it's close.

She recognizes him from before and offers a small bow of the head.

He looks up, almost startled, and then inclines his head back. "--good day."

'Good day,' she replies.

Goewin will be sitting on the kitchen floor, because it's not really a polite job for the table, cleaning her arrows and repointing one of them. If Eowyn comes near Goewin will likely recognize something of a kindred spirit in the hard fairness of the lady's face, though she won't have a clue who she is.

Eowyn does, and when she comes nearer she stops, but she has spent precious little time in conversation with other women, and never with one whose mind is like to her own. She does not know what to say.

Goewin looks up. She is a little younger than Eowyn, and that is likely to make her polite. She puts the arrows down and nods, but doesn't get up.

"Are you another out of Arthur's court?"

Because just about everyone else she's met here is.

She shakes her head. 'I have never heard the name.'
