( this is not the type of dream that she's accustomed to watching, but it's one of those moments where one simply can't rip their gaze away. it's not until the man falls to the floor that her chest tightens with concern and panic for him. )

Desmond...?

( obviously, there is no answer that comes. shaken, she grabs her own dreamberry and gives it a hard shake or two before peering back into the lens of the "phone" to look at him. )

Des-!?

( shit! she would have screamed at him to hold on - but there was no point, it would have fallen onto deaf ears. rising from her seat, the dreamberry shut off once it was jammed into her pocket and as fast as she could force herself to do so, she was out the door, running through the snowy streets to get to his club ( ... )

[and Isabelle runs into the club, not even bothering to slow down when she slams through the door. It looks like she was only moments behind this other woman - there's a brief pang of jealousy that she obviously isn't the only girl in Desmond's life, not that she doubted that for a minute - and she purses her lips before striding in.

[There's no way Elena would notice her arrival save the bang of the door - her boots are silent against the floor, despite all logic.]

Talking to him isn't going to do anything.

( the bang of the door simply becomes a noise, heard but not registered, she was feeling much too numb in the moment to notice or care about anybody else coming into the club. she had other things to occupy her mind, as it were.

the voice fell upon deaf ears for the moment, although after a short time's passing, it clicked in her mind that someone was speaking to her. it took her a moment to have her body register that her brain was telling it to move, but she lifted her head to look to the newcomer. )

Chalk it up to little comforts.

( not that she didn't agree. speaking with him wasn't going to magically pull him from a state of unconsciousness. turning her gaze down to the young man once more, though, she frowned all the deeper, gently stroking her palms against his hair and his cheek. on the bright side, with someone else present, she would have all the better luck getting the man to a hospital which he surely needed at this point. )

Little comforts while you wait for someone capable of carrying him?

[yeah, she's not at her most friendly. Elena can't blame her, though; neither of them are in the best frame of mind, after all. The brunette casts her hair over her shoulder in a wave before dropping to a crouch beside him, one hand resting on Desmond' chest. She doesn't bother speaking to him - what are the chances he can hear her? - but gives him a dark stare instead. How many times has she seen him struggling with himself, but refusing to get help?

[Would it have helped if she had pushed things before?]

[at first, she's concerned that Des isn't okay. Once the dream begins to play, her brows furrow more - she watches with mild curiosity and just as much concern, just the same as she always watches his dreams. She's always known he hasn't been telling her everything, and this might be her way to show that she is there for him-]

[she barely has enough time to stuff her Dreamberry into her pocket as she books it out of the 'Institute', running as fast as she can to the club. There is no way she's leaving him on his own, even if she knows he probably has friends. They're mundies; how much can they do? She's faster, stronger, better than all of them - she has to be there.]

[Another dream. She's seen a few of these before from Desmond, but nothing of this extent. She's worried throughout the whole thing, considering the last time he had one. But this one, and the ending, make her worry even more, especially when he collapses.]

Desmond? Desmond!

[Sorry Tifa, but as much as Desmond would love to wake up to you yelling his name, he doesn't. The feed shows him laying still, the only sign of life his shallow breathing.]
