Wally decided it was time to go home once he saw the sky darken. It wasn't usually the best idea to stay out when it was raining because rain tended to be cold and generally nasty. He took his time though, preferring to walk instead of running as it was so easy to get tired nowadays.

Either way, by the time he arrived home, he was tired anyway and stayed in the kitchen to take a drink before going upstairs to his room.

But there was someone already in his room. Wally didn't know who it was at first, but he recognised her as Leaf; someone who he had recently become aquainted with and she was sat on his bed with something in her hand.

She found it.

He wasn't sure what to say; why was she even in his house? ("Because I leave the door unlocked"). How did she even know where to look? He could have shouted at her for coming in like he would when doctors came into his room when he wanted to be by himself, even when they were here to help. Leaf hadn't even heard someone come in, let alone up the stairs. She hadn't noticed that the sky was getting darker or how much time had been there. She was just... sad. Really, really, really sad. It felt like there was an unending well of tears and she couldn't stop crying, not one bit.

"What are you doing here?"The words startled her and she visibly jumped in her seat. She looked up, about to defend herself from whatever stranger may have been there, but she saw that it was Wally. But this only proved to make her want to cry harder, and it was hard enough just to think with words already

Wally honestly had no idea what to do; there was someone in his room, who had read something she had not meant to (at least, not yet) and he was stuck here standing like an idiot.

"I-" He started, mirroring what Leaf had said not even a minute prior, but stopping because he didn't know what he could say. Wally would offer her comfort, but he didn't know how to give it.

He was tired and in possibly the worst situation that he had been in in a while.

"So I guess you know, huh?" He tried to force a smile, to keep upbeat about something like this but it wasn't working as well as he'd like. He didn't want to leave his friends behind.
