There was a tiny bit of talk last thread but I missed it. What do you think of recent developments, meme?
[what the spoilery text is about]I'm not really sure where this season is going, besides (I hope) Boyd getting Ava out of prison. I suppose Raylan will face off against the Crowes? I've mostly liked this season so far, but Ava being in prison has been super hard to watch. Also, I love Raylan but am kind of sick of his shit. More Tim and Rachel would be nice.

na I didn't really get anything off from her? To me her house and clothing were more about contrast to Rust and Marty's being fucked up and giving an air of almost clinical calmness.
The lawnmowing definitely was a visual callback to the spiral theme, imo.

NA
Not to mention that it was the same man who mowed the lawn at the closed school and also had burn scarring all over the lower part of his face. "My family's been here a long time", yeah, I bet!

I really want them to go into the swampy forest and trippy shit to go down there and more Rust being haunted by his daughter because Rust being haunted by his daughter is my favourite forever. So much LOL at him ~bonding with that other dude at the bar about absent children. Yeah, I've never rewatched some show's eps this often in such a short time span, man. I just discover something new every time, I love so much how it's filmed ugh.

[spoilers]Finally saw the episode, so many cool moments! I love love that scene where Rust is trying to ask Marty some personal questions like "so do you have anyone? DO YOU, MARTY?". So fun, and at the same time I felt Rust really needed to fix things with Marty, in his own way? When Marty talked about letting Rusty drown, he looked hurt for a second. I love that it ended with them on a boat. I need fiiiiics. Maggie, what to say? I couldn't read her at all this time. My idea is that she came back to see Rust, out of curiosity, and perhaps a sense of ownership? I don't know, it's possible she genuinely cares about what happens to Marty and thinks Rust will get him into trouble. The end of the episode... Well now we know, wow.

I can't believe they're going to wrap everything up in one more episode. And I love how Rust and Marty have basically nothing left but each other.

This.
Also, Maggie looked suspicious in the last episode (and I can't quite pinpoint why). What did you think?

Also, the lawnmower dude at the end: he was mowing in a ragged spiral, yes?
