I know I just posted but I really wanna post again.  I took the Adderall and it's hitting now.  I still have a tiny bit of a high from the hash but this is amazing. I have listened to "Help, I'm Alive" on repeat by Metric for an EXTREMELY long time. A few hours.  I feel like I can relate to it. I just wanna talk to everyone now. Everyone I know!

Hrm. I've been to a couple of psychiatrists in my life, and both of them did help, and without any drugs. What I would do is schedule a one-time appointment, discuss what you're looking for in their services, feel them out a bit. If you don't like them, there's plenty of others. It's important to shop around until you find one that you feel comfortable with, because you'll likely be opening up to them eventually. If they do decide that it comes down to medicating, they can discuss the option with you, answer any questions, and write out the subscription, but it's up to YOU to actually obtain the meds, so the choice always remains in your hands.
