Oh yes they will want them!

When my parents divorced, my mom took all of the family ornaments and boxed them away for me.

When I was still living in Utah, every year I came home for christmas, my mom would hang up our old family ornaments on a tree in my room.

We haven't bought a tree yet. We do, however, have a four sided lamp which we use as a tree. I wrap it in green garland, put on lights and tinsel and tie our ornaments to it. I then hang our stockings on the wall from pegs, and when Santa comes he puts them within easy reaching distance.

Perhaps this year we will have enough to get the branched garlands I saw last year. It would be fun to see how 'tree-like' we can get our 'tree'.
