A funny thing happened last night... Since Robert and I went separate ways for the evening, he didn't know that I was already in bed, asleep when he got home with some friends. They sat in the living room talking and joking until 3am. At some point I woke up to it and listened for a while (they were being very silly). I got a few hours of sleep

Man, when I first started going to "classical" music concerts, I was SO CONFUSED about when people were clapping. In my provincial way, I had always just assumed that you clap whenever the music stops, and then someone takes away a chair and the last audience member left standing has to leave, and then you continue with the concert.
