Ever since that injury curse, I've been wondering if there was something I could do. I mean, I know faeries can use glamour, but what about healing? I never learned that. Can they even do that? I'm sure some could, right ( Read more... )

The healing I'm familiar with are through potions. I have encountered a faerie or two with such healing ability, but unfortunately, they seem scarce. Disappointing, because the ability is more than useful and desired.

I would enjoy that.

Pardon my repetitiveness, but are you feeling any better?

Very useful. Even potion-making would be nice to learn. Are they hard to make?
It's kind of like those RPG's with the mage class. Not a very glorious job like the warriors but definitely needed.

Mostly, right now. I've just been thinking a lot. You know, it's funny, it's really hard to read books here.

Ah. Unfortunately, I do not know. I do know of someone who makes them, but I've never asked about its difficulty. Would you like to learn?

And why is that?

Me? I don't know, I kind of doubt an ironside pixie like me could comprehend that kind of thing.

Because everything in the books is right here, you know? At least all the fantasy and super hereos and all of that. It's like if I want things to be more normal, I have to read a book, instead of the other way around.

you're damn right they're different. bella's vampire SPARKLES. i wish I was kidding. heroinbrand June 9 2008, 02:58:49 UTC
This is the only place where I've actually seen faeries, but if there are vampires and werewolves where I come from, then I wouldn't be all that surprised if I ever met a faerie back there.

I wouldn't be surprised. In my experience, faeries are just more well-hidden. Most humans can't see them. What kind of vampires and werewolves are in your world, if I can ask?

extremely pretty-boy. heroinbrand June 9 2008, 03:09:31 UTC
They're...different, I guess. They don't follow the stereotypical myths. I'm not sure if I should say something publicly, but I can filter it if you're really curious.

A lot of the vampires here aren't like the stereotypes, and then some are. And, sure? If you don't mind. I'm curious.

I've only heard of the tales but they were meant to intrigue and dazzle small children. Judging by the diversity, I'm not surprised to find faeries here.

Faeries seem to be really drawn to children. There are a lot of mortal children in Faerieland, at least.

Are there?

Children haven't had the chance to be influenced by their surroundings. At times, I imagine they see things more clearly than adults.

I saw a lot of them. Faeries braiding their hair and pampering them. The children didn't seem to age there. At least my "sister" didn't, anyway.

Yeah. Children see a lot of things adults don't see. They're just more open and.. free, I guess. Maybe that's why faeries like them.

The faeries I met are very different in real life than they are in the stories...which you think might have occurred to me sooner, but it really, really didn't.

Somehow, I would have guessed you were more of a tea kind of girl, but coffee's good, too!

Not as nice? I think a lot of people would be surprised at how different they are in real life.

Really? Tea is good too. I'm just used to drinking coffee a lot.

((ooc: She has no idea how to say she's seen The Labyrinth. XD))

You're more like what I imagined faeries would be like - kind, and ethereal. You don't bite. That's a good thing.

At how different people are in real life? That's true, too. I suppose the stories mostly remind us of what could be.

They're both good, and thankfully, we've got lots of each here, so we can alternate whenever you do feel like just relaxing. What sounds best right now - cappuccino or tea?

[ooc: Hehe, Kaye. Honesty is the best policy? You could...quote something from it, catch Sarah's attention immediately?]

I'm ethereal? Wow, that's the first time I've heard that.

I usually just drink regular coffee.. The cappuccinos here are interesting, so I'll probably have one of those.

((ooc: Probably so. She'll have to think of something. XD I think Kaye might also be having some of the giggly cupcakes the Ouran twins are leaving everywhere, too, so maybe she'll blurt it out then. >>))
