'...'cause I can't see further than my own nose at this moment.'

Camera Obscura show, the short version:

Essex Green opened. They were okay, but the sound mixing wasn't very good.

Camera Obscura: Music was good. Show was not. They need to learn how to engage with the audience. I had no idea they were Scottish. Yep, I'm lame.

I now have Tilly and the Wall stuck in my head.

So did you enjoy it, overall? What was the setlist like?

And how was going with Jack? Did it work out okay?

Overall, I enjoyed it, yes, but it was a bit disappointing that it wasn't more of a show. The setlist was basically Let's Get Out of This Country. I think they may have played all of two songs from previous albums.

Going with Jack was fine. Really, it was completely anticlimactic after all the drama. We arrived separately, stood together during the show, and barely talked. Nothing unusual, discomfitting, or even particularly surprising.

Aw, that's too bad. Didn't they even play "Eighties Fan"?

Glad things weren't uncomfortable with Jack, anyway.

I uploaded these for a request on album_love, and I thought you might like them as well.

Elizabeth OST
Shakespeare in Love OST

Also, I now have the Room With a View OST. Want?

Alas, no. It was really a shame. Jack was woefully disappointed; he holds the opinion that Let's Get Out of This Country is crap.

Very much, thanks! To all three.

I am beginning to feel guilty about our decidedly one-sided music exchanges. How do you manage to keep on top of so much?
